“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises; he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so”. - Mahatma Gandhi

HALAL

Halal simply means permitted or lawful. So when we are talking about halal foods it means any foods that are allowed to be eaten according to Islamic Sharia law. This means that for any food to be considered halal it must comply with the religious ritual and observance of Sharia law. This means that halal certificate ensures that food has been subjected to approved certification systems which guarantee to consumers that nothing in the food has any forbidden components.

Kosher foods are those that conform to the regulations of the Jewish Halakhic law framework, kosher meaning fit or allowed to be eaten only by the Halakhic community. A list of some kosher foods are found in the book of Leviticus 11:1-47. There are also certain kosher rules found there. Reasons for food not being kosher include the presence of ingredients derived from nonkosher animals or from kosher animals that were not slaughtered in the ritually proper manner, a mixture of meat and milk, wine, or grape juice (or their derivatives) produced without supervision, the use of produce from Israel that has not been tithed, or the use of non-kosher cooking utensils and machinery.

5 - S Training & Implementation, Kan-Ban Concept

5S is a philosophy and methodology for organizing and managing the workplace and work flow with the intent of improving efficiency by eliminating waste and improving flow. Simply put, 5S is a method for organizing a workplace, especially a shared workplace (like a shop floor or an office space), and keeping it organized. To achieve one piece or small batch flow of products or services, workplace organization, cleanliness, and standardization are imperative. The 5S approach is highly effective at removing waste from your workplace and creating a safer, cleaner, and healthier work environment. Simple techniques are used to develop and improve effective workplace organization, safety, visual communication, and general cleanliness and housekeeping.

Six Sigma

Six Sigma at many organizations simply means a measure of quality that strives for near perfection. Six Sigma is a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects (driving toward six standard deviations between the mean and the nearest specification limit) in any process – from manufacturing to transactional and from product to service..

CE MARKING

The CE marking is a key indicator of a product's compliance with EU legislation and enables the free movement of products within the European market. By affixing the CE marking on a product, a manufacturer is declaring, at their sole responsibility, conformity with all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking and therefore ensuring validity for that product to be sold throughout the European Economic Area. This also applies to products made in third countries which are sold in the EEA.CE marking does not indicate that a product was made in the EEA but states only that the product has been assessed before being placed on the market and thus satisfies the legislative requirements (e.g. a harmonized level of safety) to be sold there. It means that the manufacturer has verified that the product complies with all relevant essential requirements (such as safety, health, environmental protection requirements) of the applicable directive(s) or, if stipulated in the directive(s), has had it examined by a notified conformity assessment body. However, not all products must bear the CE marking. Only those product categories subject to specific directives that provide for the CE marking are required to be CE-marked. CE-marked products are bought not only by professionals (e.g. medical devices, lifts, machinery and measuring equipment) but also by consumers (e.g. toys, PCs, mobile phones and light bulbs).
